Busy weekend planned for Austin Alumbaugh

Austin Alumbaugh is going to have a very long and busy Memorial Day weekend with the opportunity to take the green flag on 7 A-main events over the course of 4 nights. The week’s events will begin at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO where Alumbaugh will take part in the ASCS National Tour and WAR Series that will be promoted by RacinBoys, Scott Traylor on Wednesday, May 23rd. Austin will be driving the Alumbaugh Racing #33 with the ASCS National Tour and will be making his third ever debut in the Smith Motorsports #26 with the non-wing WAR Series.

The next stop will be Friday, May 25th, at Jesse Hockett’s XX Speedway in California, MO for night #2. This will consist of an all openwheel show where Alumbaugh will again be competing in both the WAR series and a non-sanctioned winged 360 program. He will be in the Rick Smith owned, Engine Connection powered, Schure Built Suspension, Schaeffer Oil sponsored #26 that was built specifically for the WAR Series inaugural campaign. With XX Speedway owners putting up extra funds for the purse, Austin will also be bringing his personally owned Wesmar powered, Alumbaugh Heating and Cooling, Rick Wood Masonry sponsored #33. Saturday, May 26th, Alumbaugh will be found pulling double duty once again at LA Raceway in La Monte, MO for the WAR Series and ASCS Warrior Region races.

Alumbaugh will end his weekend back at Jesse Hockett’s XX Speedway on Sunday, May 27th with the ASCS Warrior Region.

“I’m really looking forward to getting this weeks races underway. We have had some really fast cars thus far with the non-wing car being up towards the front every night and also having a very fast winged car. I think the non-wing program is going to be very successful this year as we are right around the corner of picking up our first non-wing win ever. As for the winged car, we have had some bad luck as of lately but everything is there for our team to have a successful weekend with both cars,” stated Alumbaugh.
